Nutty Breakfast Smoothie
I am totally obsessed with this smoothie at the moment, it is so delicious and keeps me full for a few hours.
Walnuts contain essential vitamins, minerals, unsaturated fatty acids and other nutrients. They are also great for beautiful skin and hair, awesome right?
2 frozen bananas
1 cup oat milk
1/4 cup raspberries
1 tbs tahini
1 medjool date
1 tsp chia seeds
1. Soak walnuts and medjool date in warm water for about 2 minutes, rinse and set aside.
2. Pour Oat milk into jug and add chia seeds, let them sit for about 1 minute before adding everything else.
3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
I find by soaking the walnuts and medjool date just for 2 minutes softens it enough to make sure you don’t have a gritty smoothie, I have made it without doing those steps and ended up blending for longer and my smoothie wasn’t as cold as I like it. But these steps can be skipped 🙂
